There are approximately 124 acres of beautiful parks in the City of Mount Clemens available for all people to enjoy. The Parks Division maintains 12 parks, each with its own unique landscape. There are also three indoor facilities.
We have 7 baseball fields and a soccer field available for rent by individuals and groups at Memorial Park. Memorial Park is located off of N. Groesbeck, north of the Mount Clemens Community Center. Three of the baseball diamonds have lights for evening play.
The Splash Pad located at Shadyside Park (155 Shadyside) is open, during the summer from 9am-9pm and closes after Labor Day.

Behnke Memorial Dog Park - 300 North Groesbeck
Located within Memorial Park, this is a one-acre park designed for dog owners to let their non-aggressive pets have some off-leash playtime. The park features a people/pet drinking fountain, bio-bag disposal and cleanup stations, faux fire hydrant, trees, benches, and a tire obstacle course.

Clemens Park
Located on Northbound Gratiot at Park Street, this .7 acre shaded park is perfect for picnics. The Christian Clemens Monument stands as a tribute to the founder of the City of Mount Clemens. A 1872 Farrar and Trefts steam engine, that was donated to the city by Robert Weier, of Armada, and his sisters, Susan and Ann, also calls Clemens Park its home. Steam engines like this were used to pump mineral water into the tanks of Mount Clemens bath houses.

Clinton River Park
Located Downtown along both riverbanks of the Clinton River, this park features large grassy areas, benches, boat wells, and a gazebo. It is an excellent venue to view our annual Fireworks display.

Dorothea-Leonore Park
Located between Dorothea and Leonore Streets just west of North Avenue. This half-acre park contains a playground for children 2 to 12 years old. This park is home to a little free library, courtesy of the Mount Clemens Optimist Club.

Kenneth D. Kirkum Memorial Park - 58 South Wilson
(Formerly known as Wilson Park)
Located between South Wilson and South Highland at Church Street. This park contains a playground with a community playscape. This park is home to a little free library, courtesy of the Mount Clemens Optimist Club. Wilson Gym is a multi-purpose gym used for recreational activities.

Lawndale Park
Located at Lawndale and Dickinson. This 1.6-acre neighborhood park features playground equipment, and picnic tables. This park is home to a little free library, courtesy of the Mount Clemens Optimist Club.

MacArthur Park - 96 North River Road
Located along the Clinton River, just east of the Macomb Family YMCA. This 2.1-acre park serves as an arboretum and outdoor classroom for children studying trees and plants. The park includes a jogging path as well as a boardwalk where boats can dock and people can fish. A universally accessible kayak launch has been installed for the public to use.

Memorial Park/Ball Diamonds - 300 North Groesbeck
Located next to the Mount Clemens Community Center, this is a 40.9-acre park which features eight ball diamonds, a picnic pavilion, and playground equipment. If you are interested in utilizing the field, please contact the Department of Public Services office at (586) 469-6800, ext 515.
Mount Clemens Community Center is located at 300 North Groesbeck.

Olsen Park - 850 Harrington
Located on Harrington between Southbound Gratiot and Groesbeck, just east of McLaren Macomb Hospital. Olsen Park has two lighted tennis courts, a Tot Lot, a tricycle trail, a junior baseball diamond, and picnic tables.

Rotary Park - 47 North Main Street
Located across the street from the County Court House on North Main Street. A place to relax and absorb the City’s downtown streetscape, it boasts a narrow oasis of plants and flowers with benches and a fountain.

Shadyside Park - 155 Shadyside
Located off Clinton River Drive, east of Northbound Gratiot along the banks of the Clinton River. A heavily wooded, 41.6-acre park featuring a picnic pavilion, magic square with ramps for skateboarding, a double basketball court, playground equipment, horseshoe pits, baseball field, fishing facilities, and a handicapped accessible pier with a boat and canoe launch. There is a splash pad for the public to use, during the summer from 9am-9pm.

Sleepy Hollow Nature Preserve
Located off of Riverside Drive, along the Clinton River. This 12.5-acre park is a wildlife sanctuary and is used by students as an outdoor education classroom to study nature. It also offers many scenic trails.
